About the image sizes

We provide our clients with the following image sizes.


  • High Resolution images are around 5477 x 3652 pixels giving you a file size of around 20 Megapixels.
  • Low Resolution images are around 1224 x 816 pixels giving you a file size of around 1 Megapixels.
  • Original images size are at maximum 8192 x5464 pixels giving you a file size of around 45 Megapixels if the image has not been cropped (shoot with Canon EOS R5).


Understanding the quality of the images :


The quality of the images is express by the resolution at which the files are used.

The higher is the resolution of the images , measured in pixels per inch or dots per inch, the higher is the quality of the image.

Professional printer print at a resolution of 300ppi which means that for a high resolution image at 5477 x 3652 pixels will have a printable size of 18.25 x 12.17 inches (46 x 31 cm) equivalent to a A2 print, for a low resolution image at 1224 x 816 pixels will have a printable size of 4 x 2.72 inches (10 x 6.7 cm) equivalent to A6 print.

Computer and TV screens have a resolution of 72ppi which means that for a low resolution image at 1224 x 816 pixels will have a maximal view size of 17 x 11 inches equivalent to a 20 inches TV.

Images for social media are 1080 pixels on the longest side on Instagram, and 1200 pixels on the longest side on Facebook for landscape images (3x2 ratio).


Our low resolution are a good size for all social media and internet resolution.

Our high resolution are a good size for professional printing.

We always shoot in raw format (full camera resolution) and keep those files on record.
